Pain that keeps returning
Your back, neck, head or shoulders keep asking for attention, even when you rest or have already tried treatment before.
Ongoing pain, tension or fatigue rarely appears without context.
I look at the whole picture: how you move, how you live and where your body gets stuck.
With acupuncture and Cesar Exercise Therapy, I help you find balance again and address your symptoms in a way that fits you.

“Two recognised methods, one practitioner - a broader view of your symptoms.”AQinesis - Acupuncture & Cesar Exercise Therapy - Apeldoorn
Does this feel familiar?
Many symptoms build up slowly. You adjust your posture, sleep less deeply, breathe higher in your chest or keep going while your body has already been giving signals for a while.
During the initial consultation, I look at these connections with you. Not to make things complicated, but to see more clearly where recovery can begin.
Your back, neck, head or shoulders keep asking for attention, even when you rest or have already tried treatment before.
You notice that stress, breathing, sleep and muscle tension keep reinforcing each other.
You hold back, compensate or feel that your posture and daily load may be part of the problem.
Where do you recognise yourself?
Calming what has become tense. Bringing movement back where you have started to avoid it.
You are more than a symptom. That is why I look at the whole picture: how you move, how you breathe and where tension settles in your body.
Acupuncture can create space in what feels stuck. With Cesar Exercise Therapy, I help you learn how to keep that change in daily life.
I do not work with fixed protocols. What you need is central - not a standard approach.
Not only treating pain, but also looking at what may be behind it.
What is set in motion during treatment, you learn to support and maintain yourself.
No vague promises, but clear explanation and attention to you as a person.
Sometimes recovery begins with rest. Sometimes with movement. Often with both. The AQinesis approach
Fine needles on specific points may influence pain processing, tension and recovery responses. The evidence differs per condition; I discuss honestly what is realistic. NVA registered.
Cesar Exercise Therapy focuses on posture, movement patterns and awareness. I help you understand why your body moves the way it does and how you can change that sustainably.
Since 2000 I have worked as a Cesar exercise therapist. In 2004 I opened my own practice in Apeldoorn, and in 2010 acupuncture became part of my work. That combination is not accidental. The two methods can strengthen each other. My belief is simple: care should fit you as a person, not just a protocol.
Pain, stiffness or tension that keeps returning and affects movement, sleep or work.
Hyperventilation, shoulder tension, poor sleep or feeling exhausted.
Recurring headache, often together with tension in the neck, shoulders, sleep or stress.
Symptoms in the knee, hip or shoulder where pain and movement influence each other.
Support for nausea, pelvic pain, breech presentation and preparation for birth.
Insomnia, menopause symptoms, menstrual symptoms or long-standing fatigue.
Discuss first?
I think it is important that you start in the right place. That is why I explain when you can contact me and when speaking to your GP first is wiser.
With sudden severe pain, loss of strength or sensation, fever, shortness of breath, chest pain, unexplained weight loss, symptoms after an accident or when you feel seriously ill.
If you are unsure whether acupuncture, Cesar Exercise Therapy or the combination fits. Also if you are already receiving treatment, use medication, are pregnant or mainly want to know where you can start safely.
During the initial consultation I look at what is appropriate. If my approach is not the right first step, I will say so and think along about a logical next step.
I am registered with the recognised professional association NVA. Because of this, acupuncture treatments may be eligible for partial reimbursement through supplementary health insurance with many Dutch health insurers. The amount reimbursed differs per health insurer and policy. You usually pay at the practice and submit the invoice yourself. Always check your own policy conditions.
Call, email or use the form. You will receive a personal reply and you do not need to know in advance which treatment is right.
During the initial consultation, I look at your symptoms, your daily patterns and what your body is showing.
Sometimes acupuncture makes sense, sometimes Cesar Exercise Therapy, sometimes a combination. I make that choice with you clearly and adjust it when needed.
I look honestly with you at what changes, what you can apply yourself and whether continuing treatment still makes sense.

Moss Read all reviews
